Doc2Calendar ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, process, and safeguard your data when you access or use our services, website, and applications (collectively, the "Service").
When you register for an account, we collect personal identifiers such as your name and email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive the profile picture associated with that account.
You may sign in with Google, with a magic link sent to your email, or with an email address and password. If you set a password, we store it only as a salted one-way hash — we never store, log, or have any way to read your plain-text password. If you sign in with Google or a magic link, no password exists for your account at all.
To provide our core service, you may upload documents, images, PDFs, or screenshots ("User Content").Retention Policy: User Content is processed in volatile memory for the sole purpose of extracting calendar events. We do not persist your uploaded files in long-term storage after processing is complete, except where required for troubleshooting errors you report or as required by law.
Extracted events are stored. The calendar events we extract from your document — their titles, dates, times and locations — are saved to your account so you can view, edit, re-download and share them. These remain in your account until you delete the schedule. Schedules are private by default and are only reachable by other people if you explicitly turn on public sharing for that schedule.
We automatically collect technical data including your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and interaction logs. This data helps us monitor Service performance, detect fraud, and improve user experience.
All payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store or gain access to your full credit card number, CVC, or bank account details.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
We employ industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your data. However, no transmission over the Internet or electronic storage method is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data. You can delete any individual schedule from your dashboard at any time. To request a copy of your data, or deletion of your entire account and everything in it, email doc2calendar@gmail.com from your registered address. We will respond to valid requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at doc2calendar@gmail.com.
