Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Doc2Calendar (the "Service") operated by us. By accessing instructions, uploading content, or using any part of the Service, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

1.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

1.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates any applicable laws or regulations. You may not upload content that contains malware, is illegal, infringes on intellectual property rights, or is harassing/defamatory.

2. Credits, Payments, and Refunds

The Service operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are purchased via our payment processor (Stripe).

Pricing: Prices for credit packages are clearly displayed at the time of purchase and are subject to change without notice.
Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds solely for "change of mind" or for AI extraction inaccuracies. However, if technical errors prevent the Service from functioning entirely, please contact support for a case-by-case review.
Expiration: Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.

3. AI Accuracy Disclaimer

Doc2Calendar uses artificial intelligence to extract data. You acknowledge that AI is probabilistic and may produce errors, omissions, or "hallucinations".

It is your sole responsibility to review and verify all generated calendar events (dates, times, locations) before adding them to your personal calendar. Wait for the file to be processed and check the output. We are not responsible for missed meetings, wrong flight times, or any other scheduling conflicts resulting from the use of our generated files.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Doc2Calendar and its licensors. You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a temporary license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DOC2CALENDAR, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (i) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (ii) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; (iii) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICE; AND (iv) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

6. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Doc2Calendar and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, or b) a breach of these Terms.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
