Court documents are recognised by their language - plaintiff, defendant, case number, hearing, docket - and an entry is titled with the case name and the type of hearing, with the courtroom kept as the location. The result reads as a calendar entry rather than a line from a filing.
Typed scans are read accurately. Faint photocopies, heavy skew and handwriting are the limit, and in those cases it reports that it found nothing rather than inventing hearings - which is the behaviour you want when the alternative is a fabricated court date.
You check them. Every extracted hearing is listed for review and editing before anything is exported, which is the point at which an ambiguous date such as 03/04 gets confirmed. No reader, human or otherwise, can be certain whether that means March or April.
No. The document is not retained after extraction, and schedules are private unless you explicitly turn on sharing. Shared schedules are also excluded from search engines and AI crawlers, so a link you send to a colleague does not end up in an index.
